Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Latvia Office of the Ignitis Renewables team where youll be helping us to take care of maintaining and building relationships with communities by continuous engagement and community benefit implementation. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:

  • Developing and implementing community engagement plans to foster support for renewable energy projects
  • Planning organizing and attending events and outreach activities with political business and social stakeholders to promote onshore wind projects
  • Responding to community inquiries to ensure transparency and build trust in renewable energy initiatives
  • Maintaining records of community engagement efforts and preparing reports to track progress
  • Ensuring that community engagement strategies and financial support models align with Latvias best practices and Ignitis Renewables policies
  • Monitoring social media and communication channels to assess community sentiment and address concerns
  • Collaborating with teams across Lithuania Latvia and Poland as well as with communication specialists to coordinate engagement efforts

Qualifications :

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in community engagement public relations or related fields preferably in renewable energy or projectbased environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Latvian and English as the position requires daily communication in English with crosscountry teams
  • Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage projects in a fastpaced setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Valid drivers license
  • Understanding of community dynamics renewable energy milestones and communication tools to support project goals
