You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAECOM is seeking to hire a MOT Discipline Lead (Design Build) to support our exciting projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Serves as lead engineer on largecomplex projects.
Leads and mentors a team.
Approves and signs off on work.
Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Participates and leads task force meetings for the MOT discipline.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain Washington PE within six months if not currently registered in WA.
Expertise in developing design packages for highway and/or roadway improvement projects in Washington State.
Experience as Maintenance of Traffic Discipline Lead with WSDOT on Design Build projects.
Minimum of 12 years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility.
Experience managing a large team in a fastpaced environment.
Proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation and InRoads.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Local candidates to Seattle highly preferred.
Inoffice/project office colocation required.
