At BEUMER Group you wont be isolated behind a screen. Everyday life is full of different interfaces and you always work closely with your colleagues on projects. We are not a classic software house our software connects all the complex physical parts into one unified system.
Developing state of the art systems
We are a leader in baggage handling at airports and we support all our colleagues in keeping up to date with the latest developments so that we can continue to deliver the best systems in the world. You will be part of a software organization of approx. 180 specialists who are ready to challenge you professionally and to be challenged.
In your daily work you will be part of a project team consisting of around 10 colleagues. When a project is handed over to the customer youll also pack your own suitcase and travel with the team to participate in the final tests and adjustments onsite and see your project go live.
As a Software Developer with us in addition to developing software you will also participate in parts or the entire project from analysis and testing to system commissioning including:
- Analyzing and preparing design specifications for software solutions
- Participating in projects and contribute with input and risk assessments among other things
- Designing developing and configuring software according to required specifications
- Configuring and installing platform components and products
- Preparing customer documentation and participating in the implementation phase from module and integration testing to FAT and onsite commissioning
Move mountains with software
The ideal candidates interest lies in getting in touch with the entire software development palette for complex systems. You will have the opportunity to get your hands into backend databases algorithms GUI configuration and testing. Moreover we expect that you have a keen interest in and ability to combine distributed software systems with electronics and mechanics. In addition we hope that you bring the following qualifications to the job:
- A relevant bachelors or masters degree in software
- Experience in JAVA and C# and familiarity with SQL
- Experience with microservice architecture containerization Docker and/or Kubernetes technologies is considered an advantage
- Strong competencies in objectoriented development
- Preferably experience in working in a projectoriented manner
