We are seeking a highly experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to lead and manage supplier audits quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across a global supplier base. This contract role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with company customer and regulatory quality standards.
- Plan organize and conduct supplier audits quality surveys and inspections.
- Monitor and report on supplier quality activities to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) product specifications and contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain procurement quality procedures aligned with customer and government regulations.
- Act as the primary quality liaison between the company and suppliers.
- Conduct supplier training programs and support initiatives to drive quality improvement and performance.
- Provide technical expertise to internal teams and suppliers regarding quality systems regulatory requirements and product compliance.
- Ensure that suppliers manufacturing processes QMS and special processes meet all applicable standards and contract terms.
- Oversee and verify the documentation and maintenance of supplier quality systems.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) with at least 5 years specifically in Supplier Quality.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 AS9100 and other quality management systems.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
- Experienced in reading engineering drawings and specifications; strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiar with a range of manufacturing processes and controls.

- Experience managing supplier quality approvals and resolving complex quality issues.
- Deep knowledge of QA principles and handson experience with root cause analysis.
- Proven ability to address issues constructively and lead quality problem resolution.
