Job Description
Position Summary...
ARLBio Pharma is the leading pharmaceutical quality testing laboratory in the country and is creating exceptional opportunities for its Team Members by virtue of growth. The Controller position reports to the CFO and oversees all financial accounting and people management activities in the areas of accounting and bookkeeping accounts payable accounts receivable purchasing and financial reporting.

The Company is subject to certain federal regulations and directives regarding a drug free workplace. Because of the Companys federal obligations and directives as an employee of an analytical laboratory such as ARL Bio Pharma Inc. you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.
Work Schedule:This is a fulltime position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Position Requirements...
- Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting Finance or related discipline
- Accounting designation (CPA CMA CGA or CA)
- Minimum 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
Essential Functions...
- Oversee and manage the companys Accounting functions to ensure accurate financial controls and reporting.
- Participate in the development of and support the companys strategic plans
- Monitor the financial performance of the company
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
- Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the companys procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
Physical Demands:This is a largely sedentary role; however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
