2Ks Cat Daddy studio based in Kirkland Washington was started 25 years ago by industry veterans and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of TakeTwo Interactive within the 2K Label. The studio is a fun dedicated family of incredibly hardworking game developers. We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform with a current focus on mobile games.
What We Need:
Cat Daddy Games is seeking an Associate Android Platform Engineer to provide temporary development support for platform features libraries tools and processes that power our mobile game titles. In this role you will collaborate with toptier game developers to improve and maintain both existing and new features and workflows with a primary focus on the Android platform.
What You Will Do:
- Develop maintain and enhance code for our games and proprietary engine on Android devices including designing testing debugging and improving functionality
- Create detailed designs technical documentation and test cases for assigned projects
- Collaborate with the team members and QA staff to identify troubleshoot and resolve bugs efficiently
- Work with existing proprietary software and develop new technologies to meet project requirements and objectives
- Proactively identify technical challenges and development risks and implement effective solutions to address them
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience developing video games or applications for Android
- Experience in C and Java
- Proficiency with Android development and debugging tools
- Excellent problemsolving collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and master new tools frameworks and technologies
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines
- A positive demeanor with a passion for gaming
- Ability to work onsite at Cat Daddy studio 45 days/week

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $29 and $43 per Hour. However base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as jobrelated knowledge skills experience and other objective business considerations.
