The Hospitality Sales Manager is responsible for the end to end booking of socialgroup room blocks and contracting restaurant groups process while crossselling all areas of the Caesars Entertainment. The Manager assists guests with inquiries for hotel and/or restaurant accommodations booking and communicating trip details including food and beverage contracts ensuring inquiries are transferred to appropriate departments and assisting in the overall plan for a groups trip. The Hospitality Sales Manager is an expert in what to do while visiting Caesars Entertainment properties and will provide insight and suggestions for a unique experience.
Hotel Accommodations
Assists guests seeking hotel accommodations of 10 or more rooms by reviewing request quoting the trip and providing recommendations on properties and/or room types based on guests budget. This leader will partner with Hotel Operations and Revenue Management to ensure specific accommodations may be met including premium room types and pricing. When necessary the manager will meet with clients for site tours of rooms/space. Proactively reaching out to previous guests and upselling all groups into premium accommodations and dining/activities while on property is critical to the success of driving results.
Restaurant Sales
This leader will manage the guests inquiry process for restaurant group events which may include receiving phone calls conducting site inspections menu and accessory selection writing standard and customized menus. When applicable introduces client(s) to manager of restaurant hosting event. Hospitality Sales Manager works closely with all restaurant managers and chefs compiling accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders within department timeline parameters. Must be able to post event reconciliation and perform light accounting.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental property and corporate policies practices and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Effectively partners with business associates of Caesars Entertainment to fulfill client needs including lodging F&B and event accommodations
Maintains efficient and detailoriented reporting of client/guest trip and function information
Practices proper guest relations; meets guest relations standards
Courteous and timely telephone/email etiquette; ensures that all guest inquiries have a response within 2448 hours
Proactively reach out to repeat guests and clients to drive incremental bookings
Remains informed of current property entertainment restaurant and lounge information
Has flexible hours and be able to meet and greet clients at arrival of event when necessary
Complete task(s) as assigned by Senior Sales Manager Director or Vice President
Assist in site selections of Food and Beverage Group Events and attend site inspections tastings and precon meetings
Suggestively sell menus entertainment and dcor for Group Events
Sell events write menus and Banquet Event Orders enter data into programs including Salesforce GuestCenter and Tripleseat distribute bookings to management/culinary teams etc.
Ensure flawless communication of event/trip details
Communicate with room managers chefs and sommeliers to review selections and special requests
Attend departmental meetings
Organize groups as assigned to them
Adheres to each restaurants set of rules and parameters
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Business or related field or equivalent education and experience.
At least 3 years experience in Hotel Operations Sales Food and Beverage and/or Restaurant Sales
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Excellent analytical problemsolving critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
Must have a flexible schedule/ability to work nights and weekends as required
Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.
Preferred
Previous experience in LMS Salesforce Guest Center and Tripleseat
PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Must be able to handle a heavy business volume and sensitive situations relating to team member candidate and guest problems in a timely manner.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
Must be able to bend crouch kneel twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
Must be able to maneuver around office and property.
Given the demands listed above this candidate must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke handle more than one function (or one customer) at a time by being well organized while producing accurate and error free results. Also given the demands listed above our candidate must be adept at using a personal computer phones copier and PDA.
