Essential Job Functions:
- Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient courteous and professional manner.
- Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordance with the banquet function specifications.
- Monitors guests needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest and work areas including tables chairs counters display shelves and storage as assigned.
- Performs all side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards
- Performs bus person duties to clear tables when guests have completed their meals
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to participate in ongoing training in the food and beverage field.
- Must have knowledge of current property events promotions and attractions.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must be able to work any day of the weekand any shift.
- Must be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
- Must adhere to uniform requirements
Physical Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
- Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required side work.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
