Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production related topics such as the development of traffic forecasts (flights weighted flights passengers bags cargo/mail delays) on annual monthly and weekly level
- Creation of the yearly production budget per station
- Creation of KPIs as well as plan/actual comparisons to ensure the quality of the production forecast
- Consolidation presentation and visualization of complex data for better management accessibility and decision making
- Driving the implementation of intelligent traffic forecasting solutions as well as the standardization within Swissport to improve planning accuracy
- Continuous maintenance and improvement of planning basics (data and processes) including automation efforts comprehensive data analysis statistics and proposals for solutions
- Applicationrelated maintenance of the planning systems CFDB LoadCast (VBA) and DCM (updating problem and error tracking function adjustments and improvements)
- Liaising with airline customers local operations high level management and industry partners
- Advising the organizational units on production adjustments & optimizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree as Industrial Engineer Business Analytics Data Science or comparable with several years of experience in the service industry (airline or related industries)
- Business and Data Analytics
- Data Visualization and Presentation
- Proficient in Data Engineering (integration and maintenance of flight data)
- Fluent in English German is a plus
- Mastery of Business Applications: Excel Teams Sharepoint PowerBI PowerPoint
- Understanding of relational database structures
- Programming skills are a plus
- Highly meticulous work ethic precise independent and responsible
- Quick grasp of concepts with a structured and systematic thinking and working approach
- Strong conceptual operational and analytical abilities
- Innovative and open to change
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
- Decisionmaking competencies in accordance with main tasks in consultation with superiors
