Commercial Lines Insurance Producer Entry Level
Are you looking to get started as a Producer in Commercial Insurance We are working with an established Agency that is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join their team! Must have a hunter mentality. General understanding of P&C Insurance is preferred but they are willing to train the right candidate. If youre a networking rock star and want to build a book of business this could be the role for you.
Duties:
- Actively contact prospects schedule appointments make sales presentations and close on new business accounts.
- Maintain prospect list of clients of agencys targeted business.
- Diligently maintain records in the agency management system.
- Comfortable thinking outside the box and overcoming obstacles.
- Must possess excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette.
- Work independently and as part of a team to drive agency revenue.
- Apply problem solving techniques to various issues.
- Ability to work with multiple carriers & grow broker network.
- Comfortable with coldcalling to generate new business.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience (does not have to be in commercial insurance)
- Knowledge of personal or commercial lines of insurance is a plus
- P&C license preferred but not required if you have proven track record of previous sales experience
Compensation:
- Base salary (DOE) plus commissions on new business
- Benefits available
