Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design KLAs Measurement Analytics and Control group (MACH) is looking for the best and brightest research scientists software engineers application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers to join our team. The MACH teams mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variationsat their sourcerather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp nextgeneration devices to volume production quickly and costeffectively. Our MACH team develops leadingedge solutions for patterning process analytics and control technologies thereby providing customers with critical insight at the feature level field level and crosswafer analysis. Our teams also develop advanced modeling simulation data analytics and process control modeling technologies. As a member of the MACH team youll be joining the most sophisticated and successful processcontrol company in the semiconductor industryworking across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
HPC server systems are increasingly an essential and enabling component to the performance of advanced equipment supporting the nextgeneration of semiconductor manufacturing. Process control equipment rely on HPC server systems to effectively handle large amounts of data and apply stateoftheart algorithms and software to derive useful and timely inspection and metrology results. Assuch these systems used in highvolume wafer and mask production need to be operating at near entitlement and be cost effective highly reliable and serviceable for 15 years in the field.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the architectural design deployment as well as support of an HPC cluster product used in IC fabs and maskshops around the world. You will identify and assess developer requirements devise solutions and recommend plan and drive these solutions to production.
Requirements:
- Indepth knowledge and experience of Linux systems (SuSE RedHat Rocky Ubuntu)
- Experience with architecting of crafting and maintaining robust storage
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience working in virtualization technology
- Strong HPC HW knowledge especially in the Server GPU Networking Storage Scheduler BIOS & BMC arenas.
- Experience in SystemD Net boot/PXE Linux HA.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and knowledge of protocols DNS DHCP HTTP LDAP SMTP.
- Strong with Storage File Shares: NFS/CIFS
- Ability to code and develop Shell and Python scripts.
- Experience with one or more of the listed Configuration Mgmt utilities. (Ansible Salt Chef Puppet etc).
- Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipelines Repository software (Gitbased).
- Hypervisor Knowledge: VMWare Proxmox or XCPng
- Knowledge of Apache/Nginx Setting up proxy/reverse proxy application server routing load balancing (HA Proxy)
- HPC Schedulers: SGE/SLURM
- Monitoring tools: Prometheus Grafana Nagios
- Database Technologies: MySQL
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
