Overview
RiverView Health is a community owned membership based nonprofit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston MN.
RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities
Temporary Part Time or FullTime RN (June 1st thru Aug 15th)
Location: Hospital / Inpatient ED
Position Status: .5 fte up to .9 fte (flexible schedule); Nonexempt subject to overtime
Schedule: at least 40 hours up to 72 hours per twoweek pay period
Pay Range: $42.24 $59.15 /per hour (DOE based on experience) nonbenefitted
River View Health has an opening for a Temporary Registered Nurse (PT or FT capacity) for the HospitalInpatient Unit (IPU) / Emergency Department (ED). This position will work Med Surgical and Peds and may cover shifts between (7am7pm) or (7pm 7am) supporting all Riverview Health IPU and ED. This position is available to assist our departments for employee vacations leaves and sick calls. This position is subject to lowcensus docking.
This position will support the departments:
- Direct Patient Care Develops and implements care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
- Documentation and Reporting Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communication and Collaboration Communicate effectively with physicians advanced practice providers and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans discharge instructions and medications.
- Patient Advocacy and Safety Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.
Qualifications
Minimum(s):
- Current State of Minnesota RN license.
- Current American Heart BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
- 2 years acute care nursing experience.
Preferred(s):
- TNCC and NRP certifications.
Competencies:
- Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and care
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication critical thinking and interpersonal skills
