Job Description

Summary

Generating sales by providing the customer with an exceptional shopping experience. The Sales Associate maximizes nonmarijuana sales by delivering efficient friendly and knowledgeable service and ensuring the store is neat clean and wellpresented at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Professionally handling and advising customers of products and services resulting in the achievement of store sales targets.

Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features.

Recommends merchandise based on product knowledge and customer preferences.

Work well and support coworkers to ensure outstanding service and sales.

Maintain visual merchandising standards.

Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.

Comply with inventory control procedures.

Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.

Cleans display cases shelves and aisles.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.

Certificates Licenses Registrations
Must posses a Nevada Dispensary agent card and be 21 years of age or older.
