Role description:

Arcadis seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineerto join our growing Resilience Water team inFair Lawn NJ OR East Windsor NY.

As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer you will utilize your expertise and technical knowledgefor design and construction to executea variety of water and wastewater projects. You will also manage design teams and mentor junior engineers. You will be a critical team member and be expected to support the performance of theFair Lawn East Windsor Philadelphia and Wilmington offices and ensure business performance metrics are being met. You will also be responsible for Client Management/Development strategy in theNJ/Eastern Pennsylvania region.

Around the world were feeling the effects of climate change rapid urbanization and loss of biodiversity. The rate at which were seeing largescale unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent.

Role accountabilities:

In this role you will leadand directthe development of water and wastewater projects as a clientfacing project manager. You will utilize your knowledge of water distribution systems wastewater collection systems pump/lift stations and water/wastewater treatment facility engineering to successfully deliver projects and meet client expectations.

• Leading projects and clients in the planning design and construction ofwater/wastewater treatment plants distribution/collection systems and pump/lift stations as well as creating construction documents project specifications and handling construction oversight/administration.
• Provide technical expertise on multidisciplined projects as a design leader QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor.
• Engage directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions and lead the growth of client relationships with target clients.
• Managing a range of projects for various clients in the region. Responsibilities will include managing budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment and leading project teams to meet the project deliverables.
• Supporting the work of others and mentoring juniorlevel engineers & design/drafting technical staff.
• Lead/Support teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations as well as developing scopes of work and budgets for various water wastewater and stormwater projects.
• Traveling as needed for client meetings project site visits etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Environmental Mechanical Chemical Engineering or related field
• 10years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field
• PE License inNew Jersey and/or in other nearby states (or ability to obtainNJ PE within 6 months)

• Selfmotivated in improving team and personal performance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Engineering
• 15 years of industryrelated experience

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $160000 $200000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
