Position Summary:

The FP&A and Strategy Director will be a thought leader throughout the organization playing a crucial role in internal strategic decisionmaking. This role will require being highly adaptable in blending quantitative analysis with crossfunctional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    • Build develop maintain and optimize financial models to support supply chain and operational strategies ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with broader company objectives.
    • Lead the financial analysis of margin and supply chain performance including cost of goods sold (COGS) pricing inventory management logistics and working capital optimization especially in the companywide budgeting process and ongoing forecasting and analysis.
    • Define and track KPIs to ensure efficient resource allocation and continuous improvement in reporting frameworks and tools.
    • Drive process enhancements to drive decisionmaking and automate reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial insights for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Play a key role in investor relations activities acting as a liaison with current and potential investors through preparing and presenting financial models projections and investor presentations.

    Strategy

    • Contribute to shaping the companys longterm strategy by identifying potential growth opportunities and analyzing their financial implications.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities develop frameworks for ROI measurement and present recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
    • Analyze business trends and provide actionable insights to internal partners and the executive team.
    • Craft executivelevel presentations for the Board of Directors executive leadership team and investors facilitating informed decisionmaking.

Qualifications

  • 69 years of experience in a highly analytical and strategic role (experience in investment banking management consulting or highgrowth ecommerce startups preferred)
  • Knowledge of supply chain finance and subscriptionbased ecommerce business model preferred
  • Ability to create structure out of ambiguity and boil down complexity into simple and easytounderstand recommendations
  • Strategic thinker who can get into the nitty gritty while also having the bigger picture in mind
  • Strong financial modeling / Microsoft Excel skills
  • Comfort in manipulating and drawing insights out of data
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to work crossfunctionally and a knack for presenting financial information in a way that others can understand easily (advanced PowerPoint and executivelevel presentation skills)
  • Ability to work well both independently in an unstructured environment and in a dynamic environment. Experience in a startup environment a plus

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175000 to $190000 annually (10% discretionary bonus and equity). Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience qualifications knowledge and skills. This role will be a hybridposition based out of our Williamsburg office and the expectation is that this person will be in the office 3 days per week.
