Job Description
Larned USD 495 is seeking an Athletic Director for the 202526 school year. This leadership position serves grades 712 athletics and activities at Larned High School and Larned Middle School.
Were looking for someone who leads with integrity builds respectful relationships and models the support we expect across our district. Most importantly we are seeking a leader who is studentcentered and committed to doing whats best for kids.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Kansas teaching credentials or degree in Sports Management
- Coaching experience required head coaching experience preferred
To be successful in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with students staff and families
- Ability to manage and coordinate school athletics and activities
- Ability to support staff and coaches while keeping programs running smoothly
- Organized and efficient in managing time resources and facilities
- Professional dependable and able to lead by example
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities
