Job Description
Position Description: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the patients of the inpatient services as a member of the Department of Anesthesiology. The APP will have a strong foundation in evidence based practice and ensure an environment of safe quality care. Position Highlights: Preferred Experience: 2 years as an APP and or RN in Critical Care and/or Cardiac Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience or ICU and high acuity rotations for a PAC Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Position Requirements: Nurse Practitioner:Masters Degree in Nursing required. Completion of a CCNE/NLNACapproved NP program required. Nurse Practitioner:Specialty nursing experience preferred. Surgical nurse practitioner experience preferred. Critical care experience preferred. Nurse Practitioner:Wisconsin Licensure as RN and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP). Certification as Nurse Practitioner required. Physician Assistant:Masters Degree from accredited Physician Assistant Training Program required Physician Assistant:Physician Assistant experience required; relevant specialty experience preferred. Critical care experience preferred. Physician Assistant:Wisconsin licensure as a Physician Assistant. NCCPA Certification as a Physician Assistant required.
