About the Team: The Cloud Access Gateways (CAG) team within Traffic Engineering organization is building the next generation of cloud connectivity solutions. Were responsible for critical infrastructure that enables secure reliable and scalable web services across Amazons global presence.
About the Role:
Join our team of innovators working on largescale distributed systems that power Amazons web infrastructure. Were expanding our team to build modern robust solutions for traffic management and web security at global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement highperformance distributed systems
Build scalable solutions for traffic management and routing
Develop sophisticated security and infrastructure monitoring systems
Create tools enabling rapid deployment of web properties globally
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
