1. Position Title
Duty Manager

3. Job Position Summary
- Responsible for ground operations Terminal Side
- Supervises the terminal function of the airport.
4. Key responsibilities
- To ensure functioning of safety security and quality system within the area of responsibility.
- Preparation of duties and allocations to all covering all operational areas of airport.
- Brief policies and procedures to all operating staff during the shift and monitor effectiveness.
- Plan manpower and equipment for effective and efficient operations and comply with regulatory reuirements.
- Propose disciplinary actions to airport manager where required after due investigations.
- Ensure that equipment vehicles and accommodation are maintained and kept serviceable and correctly used at all times.
- Check grooming of all employees and guide them to adhere with the policy.
- Do appraisals as per HR guidelines.
- Ensure discipline followed for reporting times of employees especially as operations are hugely dependant on sufficient manpower and equipment to turnaround the flight.
- Responsible for reporting to his superiors occurrences events violations and acts that may affect safety security and company reputation.
- Fill up required forms/ formats on reporting of incidents in timely manner to reporting manager and safety teamsAny other duties that may be assigned by the Vice President Flight Operations Chief/Deputy Chief Fleet and/or General Manager Flight Operations..
5. Desired Qualification/certifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Overall 7 years experience in Airports
- Minimum two years experience of working as a Supervisor.
