Are you an experienced Retail Manager or senior Shop Supervisor in your retail store Are you looking to thrive in a more dynamic forwardthinking environment with strong financial backing and room to grow
Blue Forge Recruitment is partnering with one of Irelands largest supermarket chains who is hiring for a Department Manager based in one of their flagship stores in North Dublin near Dublin City Centre. Our client is a national award winning retail supermarket chain they operate a network of highend shops with large teams in their stores.
As a Department Manager youll lead a dedicated team oversee daily operations and take full ownership of your departments performance. Youll also have the opportunity to independently manage a large supermarket store once or twice a week playing a key role in driving sales and operational success.
We are looking for a passionate food retailer strong people skills highly organized and thrives on responsibility.
Our client will offer a salary from 41000 up to 45000 DOE plus attractive benefits like staff discount bonus and healthcare incentive.
43 hour contract typically one late evening and rotational Sundays a month.
The requirements for this Retail Manager Job:
An ambitious retail manager or senior shop Supervisor who is a professional manner has worked in retail for several years ideally in a large and busy fast paced shop or supermarket convenience stores setting with fresh foods
Must have extensive knowledge of food safety HACCP passing fresh department audits training colleagues on maintaining high standards in food safety compliance
Commercially astute to have a strong understanding of shop or department financial results access to EPOS reports
Must be a passionate people person who thrives on developing and managing staff in an effective way to achieve maximum productivity and drive standards in your departments
Capable of managing multiple projects or tasks at one time using your resources and team to achieve overall success in your areas.
Good overall shop awareness excellent customer service ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner and represent the retail brand well
Excellent organizational skills customer service and good decision making required
Responsibilities for this Retail Manager Job:
Ensuring your assigned departments run smoothly maintaining the high standards expected of the brand developing your areas with ideas and creativity to add flair
Leading your department and colleagues to achieve maximum results in profitability productivity sales and controlling costs without affecting service or customer experience
Maintaining the stock levels of your retail departments overseeing promotional cycles in a smooth fashion and maintaining waste or stock loss
Operate as an effective leader among your team developing and coaching your teams to improve skills motivating your teams increase harmony within your departments and bring any grievances or conflicts to a conclusion in a professional manner
Covering shop minding duties till close typically once/twice weekly depending on management availability
