Head Chef (Care Home)
Hours: Fulltime (5 days per week 07:0017:00)
Salary: 44000
We are looking for a Head Chef for our clients Care Home to lead their kitchen team in providing delicious and nutritious meals for residents. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Care Home or professional kitchen and be capable of menu planning for specialist diets.
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Chef or Head Chef in a professional kitchen preferably a Care Home or similar setting
- Knowledge of menu planning for specialist diets
- Experience in leading and motivating a team
- Budget and stock management skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership desirable but not essential
- Texture Modification experience

Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and oversee the production of meals for elderly residents
- Lead motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff
- Manage budget stock and kitchen operations efficiently
- Engage and understand the dietary and individual needs of elderly residents
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dietary requirements
