This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtainSecurity Check (SC) security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role youve been recruited for. If it isnt obtained or is obtained but with caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role any conditional offer made to you will be withdrawn. Obtaining SC security clearance can be a lengthy process and we reserve the right to withdraw any conditional offer made if the necessary security clearance isnt obtained within 12 months.
Job description
Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of personnel in critical defence operations Do you excel in dynamic environments where your expertise can make a significant impact If so Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) is seeking an occupational hygienist to join their team.
In this role youll be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on occupational risks and the necessary preventative and control measures across DE&S sites. Your role will involve supporting the business by assuring risks are minimized to As Low As is Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and are managed in compliance with current regulations and policies.

Initially you may be expected to attend more frequently to familiarise yourselves with the site the team and your role.
What youll be doing
Due to the frequent travel required in the role there may be the need for overnight stays and it is important that the applicant has a full and current driving licence.

Reserve Lists
