The Jobs Mission
As a Sales Associate of Surgical Technologies you will be coleading the process of selling which involves contacting potential customers identifying their needs persuading them that our Stryker products can best satisfy those needs; closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions; and providing aftersales service and support to include case cover in theater.

Surgical Technologies: the Role
The Sales Associate develops new business maintains current accounts and adds value to the complete process being the main support to indirect sales channels. He/she will commit to the following values:

- Knowledge:Communicates essential features and benefits of products and their clinical applications.
- Customer Service:Acts with integrity and reactive deliveries on commitments within the required timescales.
- Business Planning:Constructs a basic business plan with input from mentor/manager. Daily weekly and monthly planning decided in partnership with mentor and Regional Sales Manager.
- Sales Skills:Develops rapport. Understands the importance of relationships in selling. Using open questioning techniques to ascertain customers needs and has good working knowledge of key brands to open opportunities for team to sell. Uses customer troubleshooting opportunities to grow and protect the business.
- Commercial Awareness:Understands that there are multiple stakeholders in the decisionmaking process and asks appropriate questions to identify the stakeholders.
- Discretion/Latitude/Impact:Work is closely supervised and specific directions provided by more experienced staff. Keeps supervisor informed regularly on status of work. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on revenue or budget.
Qualifications/Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Administration Sales or Marketing pharma biology bioengineering or related experience/training in a medical scientific technical field
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in Medical Devices
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the hospital environment and public tenders
- Native or C2 level of Spanish and intermediate level of English (B1B2)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with capital equipment will be a strong plus
- Experience working with Indirect Channel (Agency and Distributor)
- Experience working with tenders in regulated environments
- Fluent level of English
Role details:
- Territory: Valencia region and Balearic Islands
- Base Location: Valencia
- Type: 100% Field
- Travel percentage: 80% daytrips 20% overnight stay
- Presence in Operating Room: 20%
