Communications Officer (m/f/d)
(Fulltime; 38.5 hours/week; permanent)
Your tasks:
Placement of university topics in regional national and international media
Establishing and maintaining press contacts
Writing and editing texts for external communications (press releases press invitations interviews briefings etc.)
Planning press events and appointments
Event communication
Event moderation
Managing external service providers (monitoring writing agencies photographers video etc.)
Soliciting quotes and planning costs for communication projects or initiatives
Serving as a media contact
Writing speeches for external audiences
Building and maintaining relationships with local and regional partners
Potentially covering for colleagues in internal communications
Your profile:
Completed degree in natural sciences humanities or communication sciences/journalism alternatively a corresponding traineeship
Professional experience in public relations editorial work event communication content development or corporate communications in a corporate/university or agency setting
Interest in higher education policy issues
Excellent English and German skills both written and spoken; additional language skills are desirable
Strong communication skills especially in an international diverse environment as well as a high degree of teamwork and service orientation
Structured selfreliant work style and strong conceptual skills
Proficient in all Office applications
