TEACHERS
for the
SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM 2025
for SK and Grades 1 & 2
The Summer Learning Program is an educational halfday program held during the month of July. The program is offered to RCDSBs current students in SK and Grades 1 & 2 providing support with literacy and/or numeracy skill development.
HOURS:Approximately 100 hours for the period of July 2 to 24 2025 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

AJ Charbonneau Public School Arnprior
Beachburg Public School Beachburg
Champlain Discovery Public School Pembroke
Cobden District Public School Cobden
Herman Street Public School Petawawa
Killaloe Public School Killaloe
Mackenzie Community School Deep River
Queen Elizabeth Public School Renfrew
Note: Locations are dependent upon sufficient student registration and are subject to change.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Primary qualifications required
Special Education Kindergarten Reading and Math qualifications would be an asset
Willing to communicate with and engage parents in the learning process
Previous experience in the Summer Learning Program would be an asset
Candidates will be required to provide evidence of successful and recent teaching experience in the primary division
NOTES:
Program employment is conditional on Summer Learning site enrolment confirmed after the first day of the program.
Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in RCDSB Administrative Procedures.
