About the Role
Provide strategic and operational leadership to grow the impact of the NLCs Community Planning & Development (CP&D) program ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of service delivery. Manage a diverse team to provide high quality engagement planning advocacy governance and project management support to Aboriginal groups in the Top End. Implement strategies to maximise access to sustainable social cultural environmental and economic benefits for Traditional Owners.
What You Will Bring:
You will have a previous background in community engagement program delivery and evaluation. Youre confident leading a team keeping projects on track and managing budgets with care. You can build rapport with diverse groupswhether its staff Traditional Owners (TOs) Government reps or partner organisationsand you bring a calm clear approach to problemsolving and direction.

The Northern Land Council (NLC) is an independent statutory authority of the Commonwealth. The NLC is established under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (NT) 1976 and its purpose is to serve its constituents who are Traditional Owners (TOs) and other Aboriginal people living in their region. Cultural knowledge and lived experience are central to the work that we do here at NLC. We are committed to enhancing Aboriginal peoples social political and economic participation by supporting their aspirations and amplifying their voices on a range of issues impacting on their lands seas culture and communities.
