Are you looking for a rewarding career with an organization that values their staff The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic creative thinking problem solving environment. This position serves as the Comptroller for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) formulating developing and implementing agency policies programs and procedures with statewide impact for financial management financial reporting accounting and payroll. The position is responsible for planning organizing directing reviewing and making decisions in exercising principal programmatic responsibility for the development and implementation of a financial management reporting program to comply with the Fiscal Control and Internal Auditing Act (FCIAA). This role serves as the chief custodian of DoITs accounting records overseeing and directing staff in the preparation of all financial statements GAAP packages operating reports and other required financial reports. In addition you will possess principal administrative responsibility for the determination and execution of financial management and accounting policies which fix objectives and state principles to control actions toward financial reporting mandates and objectives of DoIT as a whole.
