To support our extraordinary teams who build state-of-the-art life-saving products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Manufacturing / Production Planner Scheduler located in Buffalo Grove IL.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager the Manufacturing / Production Planner Scheduler will oversee helping materials and production functions. Including Enterprise Resource Planning Manufacturing Execution Systems Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems programming Value Stream mapping and Business Process mapping
Here is a glimpse of what youll do:
Evaluating resource availability (materials employees equipment) and confirming orders.
Creating production plans entering data into the integrated system and notifying the purchasing group.
Overseeing plan implementation addressing deviations and preparing long-term forecasts (MPS Forecast).
Ensuring system accuracy for item data routing BOM and demand.
Generating Clean to Build reports checking material availability and monitoring stock levels and KPIs.
Assisting SCM and Order Desk advising on customer request priorities and managing high-visibility customer programs.
Driving enhancements in Order Management and addressing performance issues related to shipping dates and inventory.
Working with the Master Scheduler on product life cycles and rescheduling production due to changes or shortages.
Serving on Customer Focus Teams and supporting inventory control and supply chain management.
Might on rare occasions be required to tend to onsite emergency customer-related situations during non-business hours.
Here is what youll need to qualify:

Bachelors degree OR - equivalent Manufacturing planning / scheduling work experience
5 years of experience as a Production Planner / Production Scheduler or similar roles
Will also consider recent bachelors degreed college graduates with 1 to 2 years US-based manufacturing/production planning experience.
Excel Microsoft and Excel (fórmulas pivot tables). Macros experience ideal/optional.
PowerPoint presentations.
Production Planning/scheduling and DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment)
Above work experience must be from manufacturing companies. Previous experience in the Medical Device manufacturing ideal/optional.
Customer communication and meetings
Learn new tools/software quickly and work/multi-task under pressure
Work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and negotiation.
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
