Under moderate supervision the Reliability and Performance Engineer reports to a designated supervisor within a section team or organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that transmission and distribution (T&D) assets meet their planned financial and operational performance objectives. Performs a variety of technical tasks and functions to monitor and report operational results aiming to identify and develop asset performance improvement opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Improve overall data relevance and implement processes to enhance data quality and collection.
- Support and develop opportunities for asset performance improvement.
- Provide continuous assessment of asset performance by monitoring the asset register and related records.
- Participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) for significant T&D equipment failures.
- Support the development and updates to Asset Life Cycle Plans (ALCP) for critical asset classes.
- Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of T&D asset performance and metrics.
- Monitor T&D operational performance against KPI targets based on industry standards and statistical analysis.
- Develop processes and tools to capture analyze monitor trend and report asset condition indicators and asset health indices associated with ALCP base maintenance plans.
- Participate in reliability strategy initiatives and improvement projects.
- Audit inspection and maintenance programs for compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Experience:5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Skills:Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as operate with minimal supervision.
