ChildServes talented multidisciplinary team of therapists specializes in pediatric rehab and works together to create plans specific to each childs need. In the role ofOccupational Therapist you will use play therapeutic activities and special techniques to improve selfcares motor coordination sensory processing attention and visual skills so children can be successful in their world.

Schedule
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Flexible schedule working during the hours of operation between 8am6pm
Benefits
This role is fulltime and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance paid time off and a 403B retirement account. PTO is frontloaded upon hire and starts accruing immediately.
As a nonprofit organization we also participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
What Youll Do
- Complete all documentation according to ChildServe AOTA and thirdparty regulatory standards.
- Develop individualized plan of care as appropriate to meet the needs of the child/caregiver.
- Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of those involved in a childs care.
- Confer with the interdisciplinary team including the physician with developing implementing and revising the therapy plan of care based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Review medical educational social and financial information on each client prior to assessment or initiation of treatment.
- Participate in teaching and training other ChildServestaff including orientation occupational therapy topics and mentoring for students/interns.
- Provide health information to third party payers as necessary to advocate and secure medically necessary services for client.
- Provide accurate and timely billing and scheduling information to accounting operations staff and Team Lead
- Participate in internal quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Participate in community functions marketing and consultative services as needed.
- Assist in the development of new clinical programs as assigned.
What Youll Need
- A degree from an AOTA approved occupational therapy program.
- Experience with pediatrics preferred.
- Experience with autism and motor impairment preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the assigned work area and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
