Job Description

Specification Manager (m/f/d)

Location: SouthWest UK

As part of our growing Commercial Sales division and reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Sales you will be responsible for developing and driving specificationled sales opportunities across the Carrier RLC portfolio working closely with commercial customers (installers contractors merchants consultants and clients). Dealing closely with M&E contractors consultants local authorities end users and key stakeholders you will act as a strategic sales partner to both new and existing customers.

This is a fieldbased role requiring a high degree of autonomy commercial acumen and crossfunctional collaboration with internal sales marketing technical and product teams.

Your Impact:

  • Drive specificationbased sales across the Viessmann commercial portfolio to meet revenue and margin targets
  • Build strong relationships with M&E contractors consultants local authorities and end clients
  • Develop tailored systems proposals and offers to meet complex customer requirements
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback to inform product strategy and planning
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and deliver reporting in line with business expectations

What we are looking for:

  • Technical Sales Expertise: proven success in technical sales within the HVAC heating or heat pump manufacturing
  • Commercial Acumen: deep understanding of the commercial channel including merchant sales customer segmentation and market structures
  • Communication & influence: excellent comunicator able to build credibility and relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ownershipe & drive: a resultsoriented selfstarter with strong work ethic and desire to exceed expecations
  • Market knowledge: Uptodate with competitor activity product innovations and trends in the commercial heating and renewables space.
