- Employment Type: Full Time (35 hourweek)
- Duration: 1year Fixed Term
- Remuneration: Level A position $88290 base Level B position $123620 base ( 17% Super leave loading)
- Location: Kensington campus Sydney

Why this role matters:
As the PostDoctoral Fellow/Senior Research Associate (Level A/B) you will be expected to contribute to our teams research within the fields of immunology and RNA biology and to carry out activities to develop our research expertise in mouse models T cell immunity molecular biology and multiomics. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of immunologists RNA biologists and bioinformaticians. The role reports to the Senior Research Fellow and has no direct reports.
Some skills required:
Skills and Experience for Level A include:
- PhD (or imminent thesis submission) in immunology RNA biology molecular biology or related discipline and/ or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in T cell biology (assay design/execution) immunological mouse models and mammalian cell culture.
- Demonstrated skills in multiparameter flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques (CRISPRCas RNAi RNA extraction).
- Demonstrated understanding of bioinformatics (RNAseq pipelines Python/R) and sequencing technologies (nanopore singlecell ATAC/ChIPseq).
- Knowledge of genetic regulation and lncRNA function in immune contexts
- Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills with a strong attention to detail demonstrated in the maintenance of research records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to deliver engaging presentations where required
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines building effective relationships and demonstrating highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
Additional Skills and Experience at Level B:
- A strong research track record with highquality and highimpact outcomes with clear evidence of sustained commitment to research excellence.
- Proven research leadership and significant involvement with the profession and/or industry demonstrating capacity for research leadership.
