Summary
Responsible for basic accounting functions. Other functions will be to provide support as needed for other
accounting functions as determined by the manager.
80% Accounting Services
- Updating daily bank activity from bank website.
- Generating invoices daily to be sent to clients or Client Advisors internally.
- Assist in daily and end of month reporting with CFO/Controller.
- Maintaining compliance with all accounting department service standards and procedures.
- Assist with vendor payables.
- Assisting in daily recording and reconciling of benefits commissions.
- Assist in updating daily bank activity.
- Assist in daily and end of month reporting for health and life division.
- Assist in reconciling the bank statements and balance sheet accounts for both Benefits and HIG.
- Maintaining and tracking producer split agreements for the benefits sales team.
- Assist in monthly invoicing for client receivables and payables in QuickBooks.
- Maintaining compliance with all accounting department standards and procedures.
10% Teamwork
- Working together with team and with other departments.
- Volunteering to back up and/or assist others as needed.
- Completing special projects as requested by manager.
- Managing PTO to work with departmental needs.

Displaying commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth
in the organizations education program.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree from fouryear college or university; or two to three years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
Must be able to obtain accounting designations/certifications as set forth by the organizations
education plan.
