Job Description
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Interacts with outside contractors and conducts daily tours of all work areas correcting any deficiencies.
- Demonstrates full understanding of standard operating procedures as well as the organizations policies procedures and practices.
- Assist in the development of team members.
- Displays good judgement and an ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and its guests.
- Assist with the operation of the Fire Panel and life safety systems.
- Selfstarter that works well in a collaborative/team setting.
- Effective in completing work timely accurately and efficiently.
- Must be willing to work nights weekends and holidays as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Eight (8) years experience in specific skill area or four (4) years of experience and education certification from an accredited institution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required however not exhaustive of all duties.
- Plumbing Expertise in diagnosing and repairing leaks clogs and broken pipes in both commercial and industrial plumbing systems. Ability to install restore and/or relocate plumbing systems with code knowledge to appropriately size systems in compliance with Uniform Plumbing Code.
- Electrical Expertise in diagnosing electrical issues from lowvoltage control systems to highvoltage power distribution and resolving them efficiently. Ability to install restore and/or relocate electrical infrastructure with code knowledge to appropriately size systems in compliance with National Electrical Code.
- HVAC Systems Proficient in diagnosing and repairing issues in HVAC systems including FCUs AHUs heating units ventilation and refrigeration systems. Ability to inject/remove refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulatory requirements.
- Central Plant Troubleshooting chillers pumps heat exchangers and VFD controls
- Working knowledge of Hobart and Singer commercial kitchen equipment.
- Safety Must have a basic understanding and experience with all associated regulatory safety requirements including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Lock Out Tag Out Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Arc Flash and Hazardous Communications.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Virginia drivers license and Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
- Must possess within 30 days of starting the position and maintain in good standing two of these licenses;
- Universal EPA Refrigerant Handling License
- Journeyman Electrical License
- Journeyman Plumbing License
- Pool Chemical/Water Treatment Certification
- Boiler Operators License
- OSHA 30 Certification
