TheLos Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) seeks motivated professionals who want to use their talents and skills to make a difference. Created in 1993 LAHSA is a joint powers authority of the city and county of Los Angeles. As the lead agency in the HUDfunded Los Angeles Continuum of Care we coordinate and manage over $800 million annually in federal state county and city funds for programs providing shelter housing and services to people experiencing homelessness.

The Government Affairs Department advocates for effective policies and increased resources at the federal state and local levels and facilitates local policy and systems change efforts to reduce and end homelessness in Los Angeles. Under the supervision of the Legislative Affairs Manager the Legislative Affairs Senior Analyst will play a key role in advancing LAHSAs legislative priorities and policy initiatives with area policymakers.
