We are seeking a professional and customeroriented Receptionist to support one of our government clients in Washington D.C. As the first point of contact for all visitors staff and callers you will play a vital role in presenting a positive and efficient image of the Agency. This fulltime position involves greeting and assisting visitors answering and routing calls managing administrative tasks and providing security credentialing services. RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and screen all visitors staff and callers in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain and manage visitor logs via SPLAN and the Data Brookfield Management System.
Answer and direct phone calls for senior leadership and other staff; route highpriority calls as appropriate.
Perform data entry schedule board meeting rooms and validate parking tickets.
Maintain logs for mail packages COIs and parking validations.
Monitor front desk area to ensure it is clean safe and wellmaintained.
Provide clerical and administrative support including filing recordkeeping and supply coordination.
Manage mail and packages via FedEx UPS USPS and ensure timely tracking and distribution.
Ensure data confidentiality enforce building and agency security procedures and support access control.
Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports directories and correspondence.
Maintain Mass Notification System and complete onboarding/offboarding updates for employees.
Submit facility service requests and track completion.
Assist in collecting customer satisfaction feedback through receptionist surveys.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of professional experience in a receptionist administrative or customer service role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Forms)
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a secure and professional environment
Familiarity with scheduling visitor management and call screening
Able to manage confidential information responsibly
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with government or secure building environments Familiarity with SPLAN Data Brookfield Management System or PIV credentialing processes
