Key Responsibilities:
Lot Organization:
- Arrange and organize vehicles on the lot in a neat and orderly manner.
- Ensure vehicles are properly parked aligned and clearly labeled.
- Regularly inspect the lot for any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
Vehicle Presentation:
- Clean and detail vehicles to maintain an attractive and presentable appearance.
- Ensure that all vehicles are adequately fueled and ready for display or customer delivery.
- Address minor cosmetic issues such as washing waxing and interior cleaning.
Inventory Management:
- Keep track of the inventory of vehicles on the lot.
- Assist with the movement of vehicles to different areas of the lot as needed.
- Report any missing or damaged vehicles to the appropriate personnel.
Customer Service:
- Assist customers in locating specific vehicles on the lot.
- Provide basic information about the vehicles.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns related to the lot or vehicle condition.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with sales service and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist other team members as needed.
Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as tire checks battery checks and fluid level inspections.
- Collaborate with the service department for minor repairs or maintenance needs.
- Final inspections on completed projects looking for leaks or missing hardware.
- Cleaning inside the shop keeping the floors clean scrap cleaned up and removing the trash from the shop areas.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and conditions on the lot.
- Complete any required paperwork related to lot activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
- Valid Drivers License and able to pass a MVR. CDL is a plus but not required.
