Job Description

South Pavilion Family Medicine is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their busy practice on 68th Street serving patients across the generational a flexible four (4) daywork week in this dynamic outpatient setting.

Provider and team member collaboration coordination and innovation is considered key to the practices success and the workspace is built to accommodate this.

Teambased care is supplemented with social work behavioral health pharmacy care managers medical assistants working onetoone with the physicians. Large practice population with urgent care clinic laboratory radiology same day surgery center PT/OT and specialty and surgical services.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Required Masters Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000

must show evidence of completion of a masters postmasters or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission

  • 3 years of relevant experience current relevant clinical experience
  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
  • LICNurse Practitioner (NP) State of Michigan
  • CRTBasic Life Support (BLS)
  • CRTNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • CRTPediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)

Physician Assistant:

  • Required Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
    • 3 years of relevant experience current relevant clinical experience
  • LICPhysician Assistant State of Michigan
  • CRTPhysician Asst Certified (PAC) NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • CRTBasic Life Support (BLS)
  • CRTPediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
  • CRTNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
