JOB TITLE: Elementary Teacher (Williamstown Elementary)REPORTS TO: PrincipalPOSITION STATEMENT: Williamstown Elementary School seeks a dedicated and creative Elementary School Teacher to inspire a love of learning promote equity and inclusion and support the development of the whole child. As a member of a collaborative school community the successful candidate will foster an engaging classroom environment implement effective instructional practices and contribute to a culture of continuous growth and shared responsibility for student success.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree required Masters Degree or eligible for licensure as an Academic Teacher in the field of Elementary 16 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Excellent interpersonal communication skills both orally and in to remain current in content knowledge and teaching strategies.Responsibilities & Essential Functions (which include but are not limited to):Demonstrate strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional practices appropriate for elementary learners including experience and deep understanding of best practices in literacy a positive and inclusive classroom environment grounded in culturally and linguistically sustaining practices that support the academic and socialemotional development of all data to inform instruction and differentiate to meet a wide range of learner needs.
