Senior Web EngineerWhat does a successful Senior Web Engineer do at Fiserv
At Clover you will be part of an entrepreneurial team working in a fastpaced and rapidly growing environment supported by Fiserv a global leader in FinTech and payments. We deliver the leading Point of Sale system with an elegant endtoend solution incorporating beautiful devices cloudbased POS software payments processing and platform APIs for thirdparty developers. The Clover platform powers a broad spectrum of merchants from tiny shops to large stadiums supporting millions of transactions daily. If you have a passion for security technology and want to help us enhance merchant experiences this role is for you.
What you will do:
- Design and maintain cloudhosted webbased applications using HTML/XHTML CSS JavaScript React and other programming tools.
- Build merchantfacing web applications and features from development through deployment and production monitoring.
- Work in a crossfunctional team with Product Managers Designers QA and Operations to translate product and design requirements into functional maintainable software.
- Identify technical requirements in product meetings and assist with realistic project planning and feature development.
- Develop automated tests for web features perform dev testing and ensure a consistent user experience across all supported web browsers.
- Review peer code provide mentorship and conduct research to develop advanced features using the latest technological stack.
- Implement best practices related to web security collaborate with Security engineers on application scans fix issues and educate team members.
- Follow Agile SDLC participate in planning and sprint boards and take part in regular oncall and bug triage rotation.
What you will need to have:
- Master of Science degree required.
- 3 years of web development experience using JavaScript (Typescript/React).
- 5 years of experience with modern web UI technologies (HTML5 CSS3).
- 5 years of experience with frontend frameworks such as React Ember Angular.
- Practical experience with Software Development Lifecycles such as Scrum.
What would be great to have:
- Frontend JavaScript experience and understanding of web services payments/pointofsale/reporting platforms and highvolume transactional systems.
- Experience with the Cypress framework for automation testing.
- Experience writing JS tests using tools such as MochaJS and Selenium.
- Experience with package management systems such as Yarn NPM Bower.
- Previous experience with CSS precompilers such as Sass or Less.

Salary Range
$75600.00 $135000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado Hawaii Illinois Nevada Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
