THE POSITION
Are you skilled in accounting or the management of oil and gas leases If so consider joining the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources where you will engage in accounting tasks related to the classification analysis and reporting of financial data for oil and gas leases associated with the Bureau of Forestry along with various division agreements. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will provide advanced professional accounting services to support the administration of mineral resource leases on Commonwealthowned lands and waters. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of financial accounting and data management tasks primarily focusing on the processing accounting and auditing of revenue. Additionally you will interpret and enforce contract compliance engage with natural gas operators to address payment inquiries and ensure the timely transmission of revenue along with the accuracy of data records. You will also play a key role in facilitating both internal and external audits for oil and gas operators.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Accountant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience and graduation from a fouryear college or university including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.
- Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Masters degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.
