OVERVIEW
The Machine Learning Engineer is a driven professional with a strong foundation in machine learning statistical modeling and data analysis. With at least 4 years of experience the candidate will work on designing and implementing AI/ML models to solve complex business problems. They will leverage Snowflakes data platform alongside modern machine learning frameworks to deliver scalable datadriven solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop test and deploy machine learning models with a focus on business applications that drive measurable impact in the FinTech space.
Collaborate with Data Scientists to build and maintain ML pipelines and ensure execution of modeling tasks.
Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical methods to deliver actionable insights.
Design and implement features leveraging Snowflakes AI capabilities including Cortex AI for scalable solutions.
Create and optimize AI/ML pipelines for performance and reliability within Snowflake.
Apply Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance model accuracy and relevance.
Partner with crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.
Implement best practices for versioning monitoring and retraining machine learning models.
Document processes results and workflows for transparency and reproducibility.
Stay informed on AI/ML trends and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Must Haves:
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics or a related field.
Experience: 4 years in machine learning or data science roles.
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of libraries like NumPy Pandas and Scikitlearn.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch or similar).
Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation in Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
Understanding of statistical modeling supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib Seaborn or Plotly.
Strong grasp of data preparation feature engineering and model evaluation methods.
Basic knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) principles and implementation.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Bonus Attributes:
Handson experience with Snowflake Cortex AI or other cloudbased ML platforms.
Knowledge of advanced AI techniques such as Generative AI or reinforcement learning.
Familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and lifecycle management.
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks and tools like Hugging Face Transformers.
Exposure to big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
Certifications in AI/ML Snowflake or cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Publications or project contributions in the AI/ML domain.
