Job overview:
We are seeking a proactive and selfmotivated Senior Software Developer / Architect with expertise in C development and the Epic Unreal engine to join our team.
As part of our development team youll be helping to design develop and deliver products used in live broadcasts. Youll be working to improve and grow the technical competence of our designs. Our small teams encourage outsideofthebox thinking we value innovation and feedback and youll get to work alongside a diverse group of people with a broad range of skills and experience. Youll be working on realworld applications and get to see the results of your hard work firsthand.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building Client/Server applications and experience with Blueprint scripting. As a Senior Software Developer you will play a key role in the design development and optimization of Ross Virtual Solutions. If you already have expertise in live production consider that a bonus.

What the job is all about:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement software solutions using C within the Epic Unreal engine environment.
- Utilize Blueprints to create and optimize graphics logic and functionality.
- Design and implement Client/Server applications to meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain plugins for Epic Unreal to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in graphics development.
Who you are:
- 5 years of Software Development experience
- Experience in C development.
- Experience using the Epic Unreal engine and building Blueprints and plugins.
- Experience building Client/Server applications.
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills to help us solve complex technical problems.
- Objective and detail oriented.
- Proactive selfstarter who is passionate about technology quick learner and can work with minimum supervision in meeting schedules and project deadlines.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to visit our lab in Ottawa when required especially for onsite validation of developments.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in XR/nDisplay.
- Computer Vision experience
- AI experience
- Has experience modifying the Unreal Engine.
- Broadcasting Technology experience: I/O Genlock
- Experience in C# and Python.
- Experience building Webbased applications.

- React
