Job Description
Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for HHA Home Health Aides and Direct Care Workers to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team you will be valued respected and heard.
We are looking for reliable caregivers with reliable transportation in North Versailles and surrounding areas.
Immediate needs in Port Vue (16 hours); McKeesport (afternoon shifts); Churchill (evening 25 hours); East Pittsburgh (various stat shifts weekends); Larimer (weekend daylight) ; Plum (35 hours)
Qualifications for Direct Care Worker:
One year work experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar healthcare role
No experience Ask about our Direct Care Worker Training Program!!!
* Formal experience not required to care for a loved one.

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers DCW:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature pulse respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry meal preparation bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
