At a Glance:Join Our Early Learning Team as a Center Aide/Classroom Floater!

Are you flexible caring and love working with young children LCC Head Start/EHS/ECEAP is looking for a Center Aide/Classroom Floater to support classrooms across our Cowlitz County locations.

In this important role youll be part of a dedicated team that helps create safe nurturing learning environments where children can grow and thrive. Youll float between classrooms and centers as neededno two days are exactly the same making this a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a supportive missiondriven team.

This is a classified fulltime position (40 hours per week) working 11.5 months each year. It is categorized as an Early Childhood Program Specialist 1 under the State of Washington Class Specification.Please note that the posted salary range does not include an anticipated 3% Cost of Living Adjustment or anticipated salary range increases. Once the state budget is approved the salary range for this position will be $3262 to $4320.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience in an early childhood program OR currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education Program
Prior to First Day of Employment
  • Washington State Patrol Background Check
  • Sex Offender Registry Check
  • TB test completed within the last year
  • Food Worker Card
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Cleared Portable Background Check through MERIT (to include fingerprinting)
  • Policy Council Approval
  • Provide Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) or Acceptable Version of CIS in accordance with the Washington Department of Health to include:
    • MMR Vaccine or proof of immunity to measles
