Job Description
Indoor Air and Asbestos Safety Technician (AST)
Our client is looking for someone to join their Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a remote role working from home in Northern NJ with occasional trips to HQ in Southern NJ.
Responsibilities:
Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects
Inspection and onsite monitoring for asbestos mold lead paint and indoor air quality
Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos lead based paint right to know and mold
Maintain operate and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment
Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data
Requirements:
New Jersey Asbestos Safety Technician certification
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
HS Diploma mechanical/trade school and/or college degree is preferred
Current EPA/AHERA building inspector accreditation preferred
Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction
Valid drivers license
Ability to work OT and shift coverage
