Job Description
Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician
Location: Shafter CA
Pay Rate:$24.00/hr
Key Staffing is actively hiring a Maintenance Technician for a wellestablished food production facility in the local area. This is a temptohire opportunity with longterm potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems
Repair motors conveyors gearboxes and production lines
Respond to maintenance requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete required documentation
Ensure equipment complies with safety and quality standards
Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve equipment issues
Assist with installations upgrades and modifications of production systems
Requirements:
2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with PLCs hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
Reliable detailoriented and able to work independently or in a team
Must have steeltoe boots and pass preemployment screening
