Per Mar Security Services is seeking Security Officers to join our expanding team!

We are hiring a FullTime Campus Security Officer for St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa.
Must be able to walk long distances and be outdoors in all weather conditions.
Position is 40 hours per week at $17.85/hr.
TuesdaySaturday Workweek with Sunday and Monday off.
*Applicants must have a valid drivers license with no more that 1 accident in the last 3 years. Must submit to preemployment drug screen and state background check free of disqualifying criminal offenses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor campus to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warn violators of campus policies rules and regulations.
Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues
Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical nature of the position
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity Communication Excellent Service and Accountability.
- Must be willing to participate in the Companys preemployment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
