Job Description
Salary will be between $19.69 and $20.45 per hour (and based on experience) plus insurance and time off benefits
Fulltime 37.5 hours per week
Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic organized and detailoriented individual for the position of Nonprofit Contract Invoicing & Audit Specialist. This position is responsible for managing the postaward financial activities related to contract and grants awarded to Easterseals Florida as funding sources for our program services.
A snapshot of what you will be doing:
- Prepare/submit billing documents enter charges post payments monitor aging report and communicate with funders for problem resolution and collections.
- Assist in reviewing grant/contract requirements to develop billing and reporting processes in order to ensure data accuracy and timely submission
- Assist with audits site visits and other projects
What We Value:
- Associates degree or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school; and one year related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with multiple grants/contracts including reporting and monitoring of budget versus actual expenses
- Experience with accounting systems and ability to quickly learn new software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel)
- Ability to create analyze and process Excelbased spreadsheets
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound judgment high integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Solid technical analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively with different staff at different organizational levels
