THE ROLE:
As a Sr. UX Designer you will significantly apply UXin MTIs usercentered research analysis design and development process. You will work independently and as part of a team as you lead tasks support junior engineers and create highly effective solutions including digital products physical products and work systems.
YOUR DUTIES
- Conduct usercentered research and usability testing.
- Create user flows wireframes visual styles interaction designUI components etc.
- Apply usercentered design processes to evaluate existingsystems and contribute to new designs.
- Effectively communicate design processes and findings toteam members and stakeholders.
- Select apply and support team members in using tools andstandards such as the System Usability Scale (SUS) UI styleguides etc.
- Oversee junior personnel in specific tasks demonstrating an understanding of how various tasks and team member rolescontribute to overall project success.
- Independently manage complex tasks and collaborate withpeers to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and engage with crossfunctional teams to gather userrequirements and understand design needs. Lead the analysis of userinteraction data to inform design decisions.
- Create and maintain design mockups prototypes style guides anddesign documentation.
- Lead design reviews facilitating the exchange of constructivefeedback.
- Foster a collaborative and usercentric approach within the teamencouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Advocate for UserCentered Design processes and mentor juniorresearchers.
- Contribute to proposals and capture efforts.
YOUR SKILLS
- MUST HAVE A US DoD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
- A bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in a UX/HFE environment
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe CC (especiallyXD) Figma Axure Sketch etc.
- A commitment to understanding and advocating for theneeds and preferences of end users across a program.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the abilityto convey complex human factors findings and recommendationsarticulately to a wide range of audiences.
- Developing leadership and mentorship skills; ability to cultivate aculture of usercentric design and knowledge sharing.
$110000 $140000 a year
